BROW & LIP PRE-CARE

Please ensure you have read and understood all pre-care information and follow correctly. Failure to follow these instructions may affect the results of your tattoo.

If you have any questions regarding pre or after-care please contact us at info@ashleelauraartistry.com

  • 14 days prior to your Cosmetic Tattoo appointment stop using actives (skincare or prescription) on your skin, these include; Retinol/Vitamin A, AHA’s, Vitamin C, anti-acne products. No facials, chemical peels or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks prior to your appointment.

  • Do not consume any alcohol, Vitamin E, Niacin, Fish Oil supplements or ibuprofen for at least 48 hours prior to your appointment.

  • If you have been on prescription acne medication (oral or topical) you MUST wait at least 6 months before considering this procedure.

  • Avoid sun & tanning bed exposure for 30 days before and after your procedure.

  • You are not required to tweeze, wax or shave the hair around your brows before your appointment; the more hair you have on the day of your procedure, the better!

  • No caffeine for 12 hours before your procedure. This will increase bleeding and affect your results.

  • No working out (exercise) the day of your appointment.

  • No Botox/filler treatments in the procedure area for 2 weeks prior or after your appointment (brows) and 6-8 weeks (lips).

  • Please refrain from wearing heavy makeup to your appointment, eye makeup is fine, foundation will only be wiped off and you will end up looking patchy. A very light tinted moisturiser is best.

  • Do not wear white or light coloured clothing to your appointment. Do not wear expensive/designer clothing. Ashlee Laura Artistry takes no responsibility for your personal belongings if pigment spills occur.

  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding you can not have this procedure done.

  • Avoid booking at the time of your menstrual cycle as this may increase pain.

  • If you have any skin or health conditions or are taking any prescriptions medications you must contact us to discuss before booking an appointment.

  • If you have previous cosmetic tattoo on the area that you are wanting to book in, photos must be sent and approved before booking an appointment.

  • Ensure you drink plenty of water and gently scrub/apply a nourishing balm to your lips for 1 week prior to your Lip Blush appointment to ensure your lips are in optimal condition for the treatment.

  • Do not apply any pre numbing creams or ointments. You will be sent a confirmation text 7 days prior to your appointment which contains a link to a form that must be completed, this contains instructions regarding numbing.

  • COLDSORES: If you have ever had a coldsore in your life (even if it was 20 years ago) you must take antiviral medication before and after your Lip Blush procedure. Details will be advised to you 1 week before your appointment and must be followed to reduce the risk of a breakout.

POST-CARE/ AFTER-CARE
