  • Every person is different in how well they tolerate pain.

Numbing cream is used before and throughout the tattooing procedure. This helps you to not feel the full effect of tattooing, or for most people, to not feel it at all.

Some clients feel nothing, some feel the tattooing slightly and very few feel it as mildly painful.

As Cosmetic Tattooing stays within the top layer of the skin and is done using a very fine needle, the pain level is usually very mild and feels like a light scratching.

For those who are more sensitive to pain; we can apply anaesthetic more often throughout the treatment and leave it on for longer to ensure you feel as little pain as possible.

  • It is important to have realistic expectations when having your brows tattooed. Please do not expect your tattoo to heal perfectly after the first session. Brow tattooing is a minimum two step process.

Please be patient during the healing process as the appearance of your tattoo will change day to day.

It can take 4-8 weeks for the true colour to appear.

At the 4-7 day mark your brow tattoo will start flaking and feel dry. It is crucial that you do not pick the flaking skin; let it fall off naturally.

Not everybody’s tattoo will heal crisp and defined.

The first 2-3 days after procedure your brows will appear dark and bold, after this the colour will soften and fade.

Aftercare products and instructions will be provided to you and are crucial for the best possible healed results of your tattoo.

  • Lip Blush Tattooing is a treatment to enhance the natural shape of your lips, giving them that boost of vitality and colour. It is an extremely popular cosmetic tattooing treatment providing a flush of colour as well as defining the contours of the lips. Lip Blush will last up to 4 years.

Healing time is 3-7 days and it can take up to 8 weeks for the true colour to appear.

Touch ups are recommended every 1-3 years.

Your first session of Lip Blush includes an in-depth consultation; discussing desired and achievable outcome, pre drawing the lip shape to be tattooed, aftercare kit including healing balm and thorough instructions, all questions answered before and after appointment.

  • The short answer is NO.

The reason for this being; the lip tissue and your facial skin are totally different. When a lip tattoo is over lined it will heal smudged around the edges of the lips because this skin is very porous.

If you like to over line your lips I recommend having some lip filler done to add volume and the Lip Blush can help you to achieve beautiful, crisp borders that will look perfect once healed, and for years to come!

  • Every person is different and the life of your tattoo depends on a number of factors including aftercare, lifestyle, skin type, medications, metabolism and more! Oily skin types tend to loose pigment more quickly than a dry skin type.

Typically your tattoo will last 1-5 years before requiring a touch up.

If you take care of your tattoo the way I advise you to, it will last well.

Maintenance is advised every 2-3 years to refresh your colour and keep your shape defined and as you like it.

  • Absolutely!

Lip Blush and lip filler are a match made in heaven if you are looking to enhance your lip shape, colour & volume.

It is recommended to wait 4-8 weeks in between these treatments to ensure neither procedure affects the other negatively.

It is often asked which is better to get first; you can do either treatment first as long as you have allowed sufficient time in between getting the other.

  • Absolutely!

The first thing I would need to see is a few clear photos (natural lighting, no filters) of your brow or lip tattoo. It is best if you send me a few from different angles including, front on and each side.

Please give me as much information as possible including: how long ago they were done and which method was used (microblading/powder/ombré/combination)? Please do your best to explain your concerns to me and what result you want to achieve with a correction.

I will do everything I can to correct your Cosmetic Tattoo, and if it is needed, I am certified in Saline Removal. This can help to remove some, or all, of the pigment to bring you back to a faded/blank canvas to re do your tattoo.
